What is Biodynamic Craniosacral?
With it’s roots in Osteopathy, this gentle therapy is a deep, holistic and non-invasive form of healing. This assists the body’s natural capacity for self repair at the clients’ own unique pace.
It is an effective therapy that works with our inherent health to facilitate well being, working with natural rhythms of the body.
CST does not apply physical manipulation strategies but rather uses a particular system of attunement and soft connective touch. The therapist attunes to the subtle rhythmic movement of fluids and tissues within the body. CST can help to resolve sites of inertia in the body that govern patterns of physical, mental and emotional disease. Unresolved physical and emotional patterns from life experiences can restrict natural healthy motion within the body.
Craniosacral – to nourish, to balance and to rest deeply into the Stillness of your Being”.
What will happen in a session?
I will take a written case history, listening with care to the reasons for your visit. You will then be invited to lie fully clothed (face up or on your side) on a professional treatment couch. The session typically lasts an hour, although this can vary.
I will make light contact with your feet before moving up towards your head, base of spine or other areas, encouraging your body to relax and begin to make the changes it needs.

Testimonial
I have had various sessions of CST with Nandan. She provides a warm, safe space in which to deeply relax and be nurtured. Her professional yet friendly nature made me feel comfortable and I was able to really let go and be held in that beautiful healing space that can occur when we totally relax and allow our bodies to do what they need to do.
